Will I be on the Collaboration Path or Foundation Path?
EA Connect 2025 uses differentiated networking access to serve the broadest possible audience, from people exploring EA ideas for the first time to long-time community members. Past conferences show newcomers gain more value from structured mentorship than unguided peer networking, helping them build foundations before navigating complex networks.
If you've been accepted to EA Global or EAGx in 2024, 2025, or 2026, you will be on the Collaboration Path and have access to book 1-on-1 meetings with other attendees on the same path via Swapcard.
If you have not been accepted to an EA Global or EAGx in 2024, 2025, or 2026, you will be on the Foundation Path and have access to book 1-on-1 meetings exclusively with EA Connect mentors who can provide guidance and next steps on your EA journey.
Haven't attended an EAGx recently? Apply to EA Global 2026! If accepted, you’ll be placed on the Collaboration Path at EA Connect 2025.
I’d like to volunteer. How can I sign up?
Virtual volunteering opportunities include:
Session moderators
Speaker liaisons
Volunteers typically commit 4–6 hours total across the conference. To volunteer, indicate your interest here.
Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of EA Connect 2025! Your support is highly appreciated and enhances the event for all attendees.
Volunteers must attend a virtual volunteer training session before the conference and will be required to sign a volunteer agreement. The volunteer coordinator will be in touch in advance of the conference to arrange the exact date for the training session.
We especially encourage anyone considering a role in operations to volunteer.
How can I contact the EA Connect team?
You can contact us at hello@eaconnect.org if you have any questions.
All our conferences have at least one community contact person whose role is to be available for personal or interpersonal problems that come up. Feedback can also be left anonymously on the event survey or on the community health team’s anonymous contact form.
